Be Blessed and Be a Blessing!
Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. When I was young it was a day when 30 to 40 relatives would gather in a church basement to give thanks and celebrate FAMILY. It was a day to catch up with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and always a few friends that did not have an opportunity to be home with family. We ate and played cards and board games and ate some more and watched football and played some more 500. Reminiscing, laughing, and rolling on the floor with the youngest of nieces and nephews made for some unbelievably awesome memories.
As time progressed, marriages, divorces, and misunderstandings happened. The crowd got smaller then bigger, then smaller, but the glorious day for giving thanks, and giving and receiving hugs, playing games and great food has never changed for me. The memories are perhaps not as brilliant and colorful but indeed more heartfelt. One of my mentors would always leave a gathering with these words of encouragement and faith, “Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.” A great reminder that we should always understand that we are truly fortunate and we should never take for granted FAMILY, FRIENDS and GOD’S BLESSINGS.
Please say a prayer thanking God for the gifts he has given us and do not let this day/week go by without telling someone that you love them. Be a blessing and sunshine in the lives of others!
Thank you for not only being our loyal clients, but great friends throughout the years. I have been blessed by the opportunity to have many FAMILIES that I cherish very much. You are a Blessing to Me!!! Now go and be a blessing to everyone.
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Bob, Bobber, Bobby K, Coach and Robert J. Klefsaas
