Alexander joined the All Star team in 2016 and brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the capital markets, developing global investment strategies and managing portfolios for several regional and national wealth management firms serving a wide variety of institutional clients, pension funds, municipalities and high net worth individuals.
As the firm’s Portfolio Manager, Alexander analyzes and interprets the economic landscape and capital markets to provide timely updates to the firm’s investment advisors. He is responsible for steering the firm’s asset allocation and global investment strategies, and creates firmwide risk-based client model portfolios.
Prior to joining All Star Financial, Alexander held various roles across the investment profession. Most recently, Alexander was an officer and a voting member of the Asset Management Committee at US Bank Wealth Management. In this leadership role, Alexander managed the Private Client Reserve’s discretionary investment platform of over $65 billion with a focus on sourcing, developing and implementing a best-in-class investment platform utilized across multiple U.S. Bank business lines.
Alexander holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, demonstrating his deep commitment to high ethical standards and industry best practices. Alexander’s passion for the industry is evident in his continuous involvement with its professional organizations. Alexander is the founder of the CFA Society of Sweden, the former President of the CFA Society of Orlando and a returning volunteer for the CFA Institute. Alexander is also a member of the CFA Society of Minnesota and the CFA Institute.
A native of Sweden, Alexander first came to the U.S. as an exchange student and later continued his studies at the University of Central Florida where he played soccer and graduated Suma Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Alexander loves the outdoors, backpacking with his dog, canoeing, fishing, skiing and spending time with his family watching swim races, soccer games and coaching hockey. Alexander and his wife, Lisa (a Minnesota native), live in Plymouth with their two daughters, Linnea and Sofia.
